Safety Recommendations
- Dale proposed:
- Increased fines for speeding and running stop signs:
- Less than15 mph over the speed limit : $100
- more than 15 mph over the speed limit $200
- Running a stop sign: $200
- all of these are lower than public fines for the same violations
- eliminate safety corridors.
- Next Steps: Community has 21 days to respond to recommended changes and the board will vote at next meeting.
Golf Update
- Mike discussed 2025 rates and booking windows:
- Annual passholders: 14-day booking window.
- Residents at full rate: 10-day window (up from 5).
- Canyon card holders: 8-day window (up from 5).
- Non-residents: 7-day online booking.
- 2025 annual pass: $4,200 (same as 2023), includes additional months (Nov/Dec).
- Household pass: $3,500; afternoon pass: $3,300.
- Troon secured 6 sets of free Callaway clubs for rental. We only have to purchase the bags. They will rent for $50 each
- Maintained 316 annual passes for budgeting, with hopes for increase., typically lose 31-32 each year to attrition.
COO Transition
- COO Video: Highlighted experience in large-scale community management; plans to purchase a home within the community.
- Matt's updates:
- COO will replace the general manager position; no additional general manager will be appointed.
- Documentation will need updates to reflect the title change from general manager to COO.
