 Lifestyle Manager - Mandi Mendoza • Club registration is going well. 98 have registered thus far • Rooms staying full • 

Need an approximate table count for the Rec and Activity Fair. Per Candy Armstrong: 65 – final count will be done later. We use 8’ tables. 

SB2 Fitness Director – Jeannette Pyle (as reported on her behalf by Ray Kuhn) • Revenues are up $10K per month • Classes are full and some have wait lists • Evaluating what and how many classes can be added. Need more staff, especially an aqua instructor • 

MV pool opened on time, so water aerobics is back there 

Assistant General Manager – Ray Kuhn • MV pool work was completed on time • Landscaping updates were done and added a water feature .  Bushes added to hide golf cart garage • Shower was replaced • 

Looking at ways to reduce costs • Bill McGinn is looking at ways to reduce chemical usage • Solar heating has been added. On a controller which will shut down and drain the system when temps approach freezing • Bulk purchase of chlorine verses drums (totes) • Board has approved an oxygen diffuser which will reduce need for chlorine • 

MV walking path has been improved between SB BLVD and Iron Crest – compacted • 

Cornhole had a good Grand Opening • 

Working with F&B and Rules and Regs committee for clarification on F&B issues • Per Doug Springer 50 new members signed up • Lines were painted and 14 benches put in place. • Need crew for maintenance • Locking courts when not in use now – may be able to relax that later • Future plans/ideas • Add downlighting for extended play time in evenings. • Court covering which would be able to support solar panels for heating the DV pool •

Life Style Director – Liz Lawson • Arts and Crafts fair, IDWI sale, Health Fair kept everyone very busy • IDWI sale will move to April in 2026 rather than October in 2025 • 

Thanksgiving dinner reservations: • MV: 360 but could handle 40 more • Preserve is almost full. • 

Arts and crafts – ornament making class added. Card class was full. Floral was not full but was well attended, however, the instructor does not want to do it again. Natural dye didn’t have anyone, so it was cancelled. 

2024/2025 Season Fall Grandkids Day (Friday after Thanksgiving) • Terry McCarthy reported for Phil that articles are in newspapers and FTR but not in Monday Message yet • Activities will be Pickle Ball, Cornhole, Putting and Ceramics • Each club has a primary contact for executing their activity •

 Phil has RSVPs set up Recreation and Activity Fair – Candy Armstrong • Wednesday, Dec 4 is the club/organization sign up from 8:00 – 10:00 in the Ocotillo Room. Tables are $45 again this year • HOA2 Governance wants 2 tables inside in front of stage this year. 

 Candy will contact Justin for online application forms and Mandi will print some to have in the office • Fair is February 8 th in MV Ballroom 

Old Business: 2025 committee participation – Terry McCarthy • All committee members are planning to stay through 2025 except Bill Powell, who will leave at the end of May • Joan agreed to take on the role of committee secretary. F

WRC goals from BOD matrix – Terry McCarthy • Most goals have been met except for the ones that are on schedule for later (Grandkids Day and Recreation and Activity Fair registration) •

 May have many of the same goals next year 

New Business Court usage and realignment proposal - Ron Flanders and Ray Goettsch (SPA) • Presentation included proposal to repurpose tennis courts 9 and 10 to pickleball. •
