Jeanette - Fitness Director

  • Only 24 people registered for the "Get Rid of Stuff" sale, down from the usual 80-90.
  • Unfortunately there was some incorrect info given to HOA1 members and they did not know they could participate.  Mandi will clarify in next year’s marketing that it’s a joint event.

Liz - Lifestyle

  • Announced three new classes: Flower Arrangement, Natural Dyes, and Greeting Cards.
    • Class costs will range from $30-$75, with participants leaving with a finished product.
  • She is trying to encourage the  clubs to create classes as a way to increase interest in their club and also raise funds.

Ray - Assistant Manager

  • The pool project is ahead of schedule.
  • Michael from CAM suggested at the pool adding a water feature where a large tree was removed.

Additional Notes

  • Discussed upcoming Kids Day events for Thanksgiving week; aiming for 4-5 events, including pickleball and cornhole, with possible additional options for ceramics and putting.
  • The committee voted to remove the social media restriction from their charter.
  • Concerns raised about the Tennis Club backing out on their $1,000 contribution towards the new walkway to the courts.
    • The club generates approximately $60K annually in dues but spends about $40K on the current scheduling system.
    • There is interest in exploring online scheduling, as done in other court sports, to save costs.
