It is important to remember this is simply a dream list of what we might consider in the future.  The future being 5-30 years down the road.  The goal is that if we know where we are heading we won't continue to spend money to fix something when we know we are going to completely renovate or change it.  No more wasting money.

these are ideas but at this time have no costs related to them and certainly no timing. Cost estimates will be discussed the next meeting .  This is a master plan not an execution plan which will require of course another team of consultants.

Preserve nature trail has been added to list.  Nice addition and low cost.

Recommended the tennis courts at MV be changed from 5 to 8 courts and eliminate the 3 currently located at DV which could then be used for additional parking  or other future items.  This one seemed to make sense but not until the MV tennis courts which were just redone need to be done again.   Keep in mind these are future possibilities.

MountainView enclosing all of the outdoor space around the clubhouse.  Changing some of the existing rooms to storage, adding a new meeting hall entrance, expanding parking between MV pool and Arts/crafts building.  Turn the meeting rooms into office space and build  new meeting room building at DV.   Completely redesign the kitchen, storage, restaurant and bar areas.

DesertView suggested adding a 3000 sqft theatre gathering space, a 1900 sq ft multi use building with indoor pickleball, a 5800 sqft lawn space for outdoor activities.  move tennis to MV and create parking for additional 119 cars.

Preserve proposed adding on to the building for a new pro shop.  moving the exercise facility to create a larger room, maximizing outdoor dining space, adding a casual cafe space, moving the bar and add seating for restaurant.

Priorities:  Recommended to try and select items that go together.  Such as if you are expanding the kitchen at MV it makes sense to do the restaurant bar areas at the same time.

The task force did an exercise to prioritize what they felt were the most critical items and in what order they should be completed.  Keep in mind this was without any cost figures attached.  they came up with:

1.  Cam building refurbished or better yet moved to a larger more central location.

2.  MV kitchen, bar and restaurant

3.  Preserve Golf Course Maintenance

An important factor to consider in any of these is the future Reciprocal agreement.  If it doesn't renew we won't need as much space for meeting rooms, pickleball, etc.  Another option is it could be changed to bring in some extra money from HOA1 residents to access our larger array of amenities that can help offset the renovation and maintenance costs in the future.  There are options to consider and they will factor into the planning.
