With over three decades of experience spanning various industries from agriculture to real estate in both domestic and international markets I bring a wealth of expertise in sales, marketing, management and operations to my candidacy for the HOA2 Board of Directors. My career is marked by a commitment to efficiency, problem solving, financial stewardship, and effective leadership, all of which I aim to leverage for our community’s benefit. 

My background includes managing multi-million dollar budgets, implementing marketing strategies, and leading teams to exceed goals. I have a solid understanding of fiscal restraint and accountable budget management as well as a proven ability to collaborate effectively and foster a team-oriented approach to achieve shared goals. 

My experience working with Real Estate developers has provided me with valuable insights into managing community developments and ensuring they align with our residents' interests.  I am sensitive to the financial constraints we all face and am committed to finding solutions that balance our needs with our resources. 

As a former small business owner, I clearly grasp the critical importance of strategic planning, budgeting, and prudent financial management throughout an organization.

  • Resident Voice:  To ensure that any substantial changes reflect the collective will of our residents I will support community votes for major changes, reciprocal agreements, and resident-supported modifications to CCRs.      
  • Fiscal Management: I will apply rigorous budget oversight to maintain financial stability and effective resource use persisting until we achieve solutions that work for our community.      
  • Balanced Solutions: I will explore practical and innovative approaches to community challenges, prioritizing resident interests and pursuing a balanced approach that considers the diverse demographics and needs within our community.      
  • Managing Amenities: I will ensure amenities reflect resident values and evaluate and prioritize all amenity maintenance and/or improvements in conjunction with careful planning for expenditures and funding.  
  • Community Challenges:  I will approach our challenges without bias, rationally questioning, analyzing and evaluating all alternatives utilizing resident/external expertise as needed and maintaining clear communication throughout the process.  This approach will lead to well-considered, goal aligned solutions.  

While we do face some fiscal challenges over the next few years, I am optimistic that with diligent financial oversight and strong community involvement, we can navigate these issues effectively.  With my tenacity and commitment to finding solutions along with a balanced approach to decision-making I feel confident we can align our efforts and achieve our collective goals.
